New York 1776 by Worthington Publishing
Because one can never really ever have too many wargames, I’ve just jumped on as a backer of Worthington Publishing’s New York 1776 Kickstarter project. The game simulates one of the key campaigns of the American Revolutionary War. It’s one I’m not very knowledgeable about, so I’m excited to tear the shrink wrap off of this one.
As I write this, the project has funded well past its goal of $2,000 and looks to keep rocking along until it wraps up on May 27th. Several stretch goals have already been reached including a nifty little companion book detailing the New York campaign. If funding reaches $20,000, the game will upgrade to include a mounted map board. The whole package is very impressive and I’m looking forward to adding it to the collection and eventually playing it.
